About the Siouxland Community Blood Bank

Since 1967 the Siouxland Community Blood Bank (SCBB) has served in the State of Iowa as a not-for-profit charitable corporation.
(SCBB) serves as the sole supplier of blood and blood components to 36 area hospitals. Not only does SCBB serve the community but has expanded the services it provides to its clients. Additionally, other blood centers from across the United States utilize the Siouxland Community Blood Bank for emergency supplies of blood and blood products.
We are licensed and regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and hold membership in
America's Blood Centers and the American Association of Blood Banks.
