Board of Directors

The Board of Directors include volunteers representing communities throughout the area. It governs the blood bank operation by setting policy for the program and by guiding the future development of services. This local control provides accountability to the communities we serve. The volunteer Board of Directors is made up of people of all backgrounds. The policies are carried out by the Executive Offices and Medical Director.
The Board of Directors is responsible for developing and approving the annual budget in order to meet anticipated expenditures and to achieve needed revenue to support such expenditures. Members are elected to a three-year term at the annual meeting.
