At the Siouxland Community Blood Bank, volunteers are an essential part of our lifesaving team. Volunteering at the Blood Bank is a great way to get involved in your community. You will make new friends, develop new skills and help to make a big difference in the lives of others. Volunteers perform tasks that support our operations and, most importantly, they contribute to our team by creating a pleasant, educational and comforting experience for donors. Even if you only have a little time, there are many opportunities to volunteer. We know your time here will be a rewarding experience!

Your Help is Needed

We have a new shipment of t-shirts (1,500) that need to be folded. These shirts go out to our donors that meet gallon mark milestones. Come in on your own; bring a friend or an entire group for a few hours or an entire afternoon! Help us say “thank you” to these donors who help to save lives with their every donation.

Support your local Heroes Give Blood
	HEROES UNITE May 1st - Sept. 30th
Heroes Unite, "It's About Life" Heroes Unite! is designed to increase blood donations during the summer, a season when donor turnout is traditionally low. It begins May 1st and runs through Sept 30th. Our goal is to partner with the community police, fire and rescue personnel to encourage all community members to become regular donors with the Siouxland Community Blood Bank. This partnership with police, fire and rescue groups provides an important link between blood donors and community heroes all preparing for the needs of tomorrow. The are on the front lines of saving people's lives every day. The top 3 communities with the highest participation will recieve a cash prize. The money is given to that community's fire & rescue departments.
