Scheduling a Blood Drive

The Siouxland Community Blood Bank has a fixed collection site at 1019 Jones Street in Sioux City and multiple mobile collection units that visit businesses, hospitals, churches, high schools, community centers and fire departments throughout communities in the Siouxland tri-state region.

A mobile blood drive may be scheduled anywhere in the tri-state area. The bloodmobiles are scheduled several months in advance.

A blood drive coordinator is recomended. Coordinators from the community are important for the sucess of the drive. They help recruit donors, schedule appointments, reserve parking space, help with refreshments, and act as a liaison between their group and the blood bank
