Say Thank You

Saying thank you at the end of the blood drive is extremely gratifying. Everyone deserves to be recognized for giving the gift of life. Recognition can happen in a variety of ways, here are a few examples:

• Everyone who participates has lunch provided for them
• Names are included in newsletters
• A letter is written to the editor of a local newspaper, etc.

The Siouxland Community Blood Bank serves hundreds of patients in 36 area hospitals each week. On behalf of those patients' families, we thank everyone for their contribution to making each blood drive a success. It is truly a selfless think to do to give of one's self so that others may live. The gratitude these families feel towards volunteer blood donors is unspeakable.
